The primary purpose of Duplin County Schools' athletic program is to promote the physical, mental, social, and emotional, well-being of the student athlete.  It is hoped that athletics in our schools will be a positive influence in preparing our youth for enriching lives.  Both parents and coaches are instrumental in providing the most positive experience possible for our athletes.  By establishing the role of each position, we are able to provide better benefits for our children.  Parents have the right to know what expectations are placed on your student athlete.  Clear communication is essential between the coach and the parent.
